Hello and thanks so much for stopping by. I am excited to share with you today who I am and my passion for all things sleep. I will also explain the services I offer to help families and little ones get more restful sleep and develop healthy sleep habits.
I am Beth Lewis, a pediatric sleep consultant and founder of Sierra Nevada Sleep. As a pediatric sleep consultant, I help families establish age-appropriate, healthy sleep habits for their little ones ages 3 months – 8 years. I help families who are struggling with a variety of common children’s sleep issues including frequent nighttime wakings, early rising, the crib to bed transition, refusing to go to bed or stay in bed, and transitioning out of bed sharing.
When not helping families with sleep, I am fortunate to work as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a family medicine clinic. In this role, I’ve seen the struggles many parents have helping their little ones establish healthy sleep. The consequences of these sleep challenges not only affect the child but often affect parental sleep quality and daytime function as well. This is exactly why I am thrilled to be starting as a sleep consultant – we all deserve a great night’s sleep.
Helping others achieve restful sleep through healthy sleep habits is my passion. My goal is to help your family establish age-appropriate sleep habits so everyone in the home sleeps better. My enthusiasm is centered on the science of sleep and knowing how critical restful sleep is to a child’s growth, development, and ultimately their ability to thrive. Promoting safe sleep practices is a top priority for me so I always follow The American Academy of Pediatrics’ (AAP) safe sleep guidelines.
I am so excited to have the opportunity to help families teach their child to fall asleep independently while establishing safe and healthy sleep habits. It truly means so much to me to work one on one with families in this role. Getting restful sleep is life changing for both the child and parents.

I work one on one with families to complete an in-depth assessment and develop a personalized plan to address your family’s sleep concerns. My end goal is to teach your little one to fall asleep independently using techniques that align with your values, parenting style, and goals. The services I provide are virtual meaning that no matter where you live we can work together.
1. A two week sleep support package. This is one on one support for families as we work to teach your little one to sleep independently. We work together over the course of two weeks to implement a comprehensive and personalized sleep plan. The goal is for your child to fall asleep independently and to learn this skill in a way that you’re comfortable with. You may find more detailed information on how this works here.
2. Sleep Questions and Answers. This is a one time consultation to address any questions around your child’s sleep. This is meant for families who have already established healthy sleep habits but need some help troubleshooting a small issue. Find more information here.
